Ibro Konaté

Ibro Konaté is the eldest son of the Guinean master drummer Famoudou Konaté. He lives in Conakry, where he teaches to promising young percussionists ('les Jeunes'). Ibro is from the Malinke tribe, which has a long and rich tradition and dance and music. Ibro joined among others "Les Merveilles de Guinee", "Les Ballets Africains", and "Percussion de Guinee".
